Megan Fox for Interview June/July 2010 by Craig McDean

Megan Fox goes high fashion for the June-July cover shoot of Interview Magazine. Photographed by Craig McDean, Megan dons a stern bob as she does a tango with her undressed doppelganger mannequin. Wearing pieces from Lanvin, Calvin Klein, Nina Ricci and others, Fox makes a pretty convincing model in this risquΓ© spread.

  1. Agreed that it's cold and uninspired. Very stiff (obviously, since she's imitating and alongside a mannequin…). And I have no respect for the eroticism and girl-on-girl innuendo… There's nothing intriguing behind this concept. Fox does have a really great facial structure.

  4. I LOVE IT!!!!! It's wicked how the manequin looks like her. Would be cool if they photoshoped her head onto all of the mannequins.
Nice ideas. I think it's pretty inspiring and makes you look at it!!! So don' t know what they ^^^^ are moaning about.

    • If everyone had the same opinions, life would be stagnant and boring. We all look at things differently and have different taste, so there's no reason to be negative and petty towards those that think differently than you. Especially on something like the review of a fashion editorial.

  7. brilliant edit. Megan Fox's expression-less mannequin-like facial expression actually quite fits the whole theme of this editiorail.

  10. I actually really dig this. Yeah, it is very cold but I think it works perfectly. It's cold, plastic and shallow and it all works perfectly. There's so much hate toward Megan, but I think there is just something really endearing about her (atleast for me personally) and I just think this is an example of how to take a general negative opinion about someone (that she's a cold, shallow, one-look wonder) and work it perfectly.

  13. If you're going to Photoshop a face to the extent where the subject looks like plastic, you might as well just shoot mannequins. What's the difference?

  16. I really like this. I don't like Megan Fox's acting, because, lets face it, there's really hardly any acting involved. Her looks have carried her through in the industry. I think this is a really cool way of hinting at that, although, perhaps it's a bit too blatant to be called hinting. It's cold, yes, but it has to be, that's central to the entire concept. The severe, cold and calculated sexuality of the entire spread is pretty superb.

  19. I think Megan´s face might be superimposed in #1 and #4. There´s no way the mannequin looks so much like her. Besides, look at how different that mannequin face is in those two pictures compared to the one in #7… Having said that, I LOVE the concept and that icy mood, in stark contrast to those red glossy lips. McDean provides, as always.

  22. VERY HELMUT NEWTON – he did a shoot with a woman playing with a mannequin mini doll version of herself, and another with sex dolls. Really nice interpretation.

  25. We agree. Original, awesome, provocative!!! Those who wrote "who's the mannequin" got the point totally. In fashion's desire for Stepford perfection, and our American desire to be celeb clones, you get mannequins. This is just a 70s statement made new again. Love it.

  28. Uninspiring. Not impressed. Her face is stunning, but she doesnt do nothing here for me. Little cheesy with the whole girl-on-girl theme.

  31. the idea of model & mannequin was done before, with eniko mihalik in vogue paris. while i think this is great (though i'm no fan of megan fox), the sterility of the photos cannot compare to the sensuality & warmth of the vogue ones.
