Marni ResortMarni’s resort 2014 collection offers the label’s signature ladylike yet eccentric aesthetic with an outing of womanly silhouettes which place focus on the waist. The color palette this season is varied; ranging from black and white to jewel toned purples, blues and greens. Skirts fall to the knee while 3/4th length blouses are worn over cropped trousers and long tunics. The Marni woman also makes a nod to the seventies for resort, wearing bold psychedelic prints that play off floral motifs. Bags this season are rectangle-shaped made with contrasting borders, laminated effects and perforation techniques while shoes range from flat sandals to platform heels.
