Givenchy brings some color into pre-fall with an austere collection made for the fashion conscious. Continuing with its t motif and use of sheer materials, Givenchy presents a collection of contrast–severe looks and uninhibited glamour combine for a story of gradient hues and structured silhouettes.

  1. At first I wasn’t feeling the earth tones but they made more sense as a whole collection. The standouts for me were those purple pieces, especially the purple turtleneck dress on Izabel and the looks directly before and after – wow!

  2. Eh, Izabel is kinda blah in this. A more striking girl would’ve fit better. Especially since the colors are eh too. 2/5 overall.

  4. I’ve been waiting to see Givenchy’s Pre-Fall Collection. I must admit, I still prefer last years pre-fall, but this is beyond amazing as well. I can’t wait to see the full collection.

  5. izabel wasn’t really the best choice… i would like to see daria w or raquel zimmermann there. about the collection, i really like the evolution of the colors and the fabrics: the clothes get darker and ‘tougher’ as the collection goes by, until the point where purple suddenly replaces browns and beiges and the transparencies effectively appear. the tailoring reminds me of nuns… i like it
