  1. I used to love her for her frowning portraits back in the days (by Lindbergh especially) but now I have this feeling it is no longer on the cards….

  2. It’s interesting these days how savvy people have become, noting how much over use of retouching there is. Is it now a fad to comment on retouching? I’m so bored of retouching comments Everyone used to love the look, but now they know it’s done some, quite alot don’t like it. – it’s not real, it’s fantasy – it’s fashion. Why the need to make everything real these days?

I love M+M for their fantasy and their retouching.

    • over retouching is not about fantasy: is about not knowing how to retouch.
good retouching makes the skin flawless AND keeps the pores and texture.
Bad retouching smoothes out everything and looks plastic.
      Got it?

      • Yeah. I think I think what you mean.

You’re right. Mert & Marcus’ retouchers have no idea what they are doing. And it has nothing to do with the average scanning at low res and tiny images resized to full page does it?
