Set against various backdrops, stylist Bill Mullen selects colorful looks from Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo, Chanel and many more with a lingerie twist. A slicked back coif by Raymond McLaren and nontraditional lipstick choices by Francelle Daly-Poiblanc complete the flamboyant outfits.
Conscious Glamour – Constance Jablonski models H&M’s latest line called “Exclusive Conscious” which is a collection of red carpet ready looks made of more sustainable materials. Extravagant evening wear looks ranging from beaded minis to floral gowns feature materials such as recycled polyester chiffon, organic cotton and hemp. The new collection will be available on April 12th in around 100 H&M stores and online.
Gentlemen’s Club – Constance Jablonski turns up the heat in some of spring’s most sexiest looks with Yelena Yemchuk’s (2b Management) moody images for Numéro #131. Garbed in lingerie inspired selects from fashion editor Samuel François, Constance is an alluring vision in the designs of Prada, Valentino, Ralph Lauren and Dolce & Gabbana amongst others. Soft curls by hair stylist Romina Manenti and smokey eyes by makeup artist Romy Soleimani add to the blonde’s seductive look.
The New Lady – In front of Natalia Alaverdian’s lens, cover girl Constance Jablonski shines in modern ladylike ensembles for the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar Russia. Fashion editor Natalie Joos selects a wardrobe of metallic tops and embellished bottoms from the likes of Balmain, Versace and Moschino in the dynamic studio images. Red curls by hair stylist Domingo Quintero and matching lips by Maki H complete the glam looks.
Dior’s Classic Fall – Bill Gaytten looked towards the archives for inspiration with his second mainline collection for Dior’s fall 2012 presentation. With still no official word on a permanent creative director, the new season showcased demure forties and fifties inspired silhouettes in a muted color palette of taupe, black and burgundy. Despite the lack of Galliano opulence, Gaytten offered a lovely refinement for the autumn season with ballerina inspired shapes. Cinched jackets, pleated skirts and jewelry style embellishments dominate the Dior woman’s wardrobe for autumn.
Dolce & Gabbana’s Baroque Woman – Dolce & Gabbana’s Italian glamour took a turn for bejeweled, Baroque inspired beauty with designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana’s fall 2012 showing presented during Milan Fashion Week. Influenced by Sicilian art work, models took to the runway in brocade and cherub tapestry prints. Accessories for the show included bejeweled headbands, gold jewelry and pearl adorned handbags. Delicate lace work was also on display with ladylike dresses that reached the knee and black veils worn like the Madonna. Bringing some sex appeal to the demure showing, Dolce sent out lingerie inspired bustiers and hot pants for a cheeky take on the Baroque influence.
