Miuccia Prada’s vision for the spring-summer 2017 collection from Miu Miu was all about beach bound looks. From embellished swim caps to 50’s style one-pieces and skirts that doubled as towels, the Miu Miu woman was ready for a day of sand and sun. Playful retro prints also made an appearance on the runway with stripes, florals and abstract motifs. Of course when one leaves the beach you also need apparel and Prada had plenty of options. Colorful coats and dresses tied at the waist made for ideal coverups. Finishing the look were sandals in platform or slide styles as well as bags in bold prints or sleek black leather.
