Rosalía appears on the inaugural December 2021 issue cover of Rolling Stone en Español. Captured by Greg Swales, she wears a red Jorge Duque Vélez corset. Accompanying images feature the Spanish singer showing off fashion-forward ensembles ranging from sleek leather to dazzling jewelry.
Fashion director Alex Badia and stylist Angélica Diazgranados highlight brands like Chanel, Alfredo Martínez, Rick Owens, and Cartier. For beauty, Gustavo Bortolotti works on makeup with hair by Latisha Simone Chong and Zair Vega on nails.
Rosalía says about the project, “MOTOMAMI is the most personal story I’ve told. In my head, MOTOMAMI makes sense as a concept, as a feminine figure building herself. So, that’s how it goes: It’s almost like a self-portrait, when an artist makes a self-portrait in the context of the modern world.”

The feature’s writer Diego Ortiz shares about her upcoming album, “MOTOMAMI is a masterpiece… It’s an innovative, avant-garde work [that] challenges commercial music as we know it… Genres are a thing of the past; there’s room for everything here… It’s a brave record… what modern music should be… MOTOMAMI feels like a freight train from the future, hurtling right at us at full speed & no brakes.”
