Smell Like McQueen – Looking to produce its first fragrance in ten years, Alexander McQueen has signed a licensing deal with P&G Prestige to start working on new scents immediately. “Alexander McQueen has captured the imagination of the world in a unique and indelible way. The brand has become synonymous with modern British couture and will bring their incredibly passionate and emotional point of view to fragrance,” says Joanne Crewes, President of P&G Prestige about the deal.
Anja’s Paris Affair – Anja Rubik lands two new fragrance campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent’s “Paris je t’aime” and “Parisienne” scents. The Polish beauty replaces former face Kate Moss for the latter fragrance. In one image, Anja is seen kissing the perfume bottle against a Paris backdrop featuring the Eiffel Tower while the other ad shows off her sultry side with a black, skin-baring ensemble.
The Secret – Russian model Natasha Poly nabs another Givenchy campaign for the French house’s “Ange ou Démon Le Secret” fragrance (see Natasha’s previous 2012 campaign for the scent here). Photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, the blonde beauty mystifies in a pastel cape and matching dress.
Every Day Is A Scent – Swedish department store NK enlists photographer Jesse Laitinen (Mink MGMT.) for a new campaign promoting designer scents. The beauty shots, which star Johanna Jonsson, feature fragrances from Yves Saint Laurent, Jimmy Choo, Profumum and more. With art direction by Garbergs, Johanna transforms into different women with impressive hair and makeup courtesy of Linda Shalabi and Ignacio Alonso.
Modern Muse – After being announced as a face of Estee Lauder last spring, we finally get to see Arizona Muse’s work for the beauty giant in the “Modern Muse” fragrance campaign. It’s been ten years since the launch of a new scent from Lauder, and now, the company taps the American model for a dreamy advertisement lensed by Craig McDean. “Modern Muse” officially launches this September. Very Irresistible – Following up the announcement yesterday, Givenchy has released a preview of its new Very Irresistible campaign starring Amanda Seyfried. The American actress poses for Glen Luchford in a white shirt and gentleman’s hat at a cafe setting. The television ads directed by Cédric Klapisch are set to be revealed later this year.
Water Lovers – Following up the announcement in March, here is a look at more images from Dolce & Gabbana’s new “Light Blue” campaign. The fragrance advertisement stars Italian model Bianca Balti and British hunk David Gandy. Photographed by Mario Testino on the coast of Capri, Italy, the duo makes quite the couple in white swimwear with a slightly retro vibe.
Dream Angels – Victoria’s Secret beauties Candice Swanepoel and Behati Prinsloo model the lingerie label’s new Dream Angels line of romantic intimates. As always, the duo enchants in the dreamy images. The range includes push-up, demi, perfect coverage, multi-way and unlined demi bras as well as three fragrance scents.
Her Name is Candy – Face of Prada Candy L’eau fragrance, French actress Léa Seydoux, stars in a series of three short films directed by Roman Coppola and Wes Anderson. In the video, Seydoux is a coy beauty sought after by two men played by Peter Gadiot (Gene) and Rodolphe Pauly (Julius). The film release celebrates the n new “Candy L’eau” scent with hits stores at the end of the month.
Water Beauty – Following up the campaign for the original Dahlia Noir fragrance released in 2011, Givenchy delivers an advertisement for Dahlia Noir L’Eau–a new, more fresh and livlier scent. Givenchy muse Mariacarla Boscono fronts the campaign, looking ethereal yet mysterious in an image photographed by Mert & Marcus.
