Adut Akech and her brother Bior Akech grace the April 2023 cover of Vogue Australia, taking the fashion world by storm. The siblings are featured in three beautiful collectible covers shot by Josh Olins in Dovecote, New South Wales.
In the interview, Adut and Bior open up about their journey from a Kenyan refugee camp to making it big in the fashion industry in Australia. They also share their thoughts on working with a sibling and discuss their close relationships with fashion insiders such as Edward Enninful and Naomi Campbell.
The first cover features Adut and Bior in stunning all-white ensembles. The Estee Lauder face is rocking Loewe apparel with Tiffany & Co. earrings, while rising star Bior looks dapper in Loewe with Zegna pants and Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry.
“He’s my little baby. I raised him basically since that day, and I watched him grow up from then to this point,” the leading Black model tells the magazine about her younger brother.
In the second shot, the pair are captured posing at the beach in stylish blue looks.
For the third cover, they wear minimal all-grey ensembles. Vogue Australia’s Editor-in-chief, Christine Centenera, styled the shoot to perfection. The April issue is set to hit newsstands on April 3rd.
