Alessandro Michele creates the highly buzzed-about adidas x Gucci collaboration, marrying the aesthetics of the sportswear company and the Italian fashion house. A selection of colorful hues gets featured in a lookbook showcasing womenswear and menswear styles.

Models strike dynamic poses in images captured by Carlijn Jacobs with art direction by longtime Gucci collaborator Christopher Simmonds. The adidas x Gucci 2022 collection focuses on both brands’ signatures like the iconic adidas’ white Three stripes and Gucci’s red and green bars. There is also the combination of the adidas Trefoil as well as the GG monogram.

To present the selection, Alessandro Michele envisioned a series of images inspired by archival catalogs as a cast of characters strikes dynamic poses against brightly colored backdrops alongside sporty props, captured by photographer Carlijn Jacobs.

More dressed-up pieces like suede loafers, leather heels, and silk scarves get a casual update. Michele also creates a new take on the adidas Gazelle, while Horsebit loafers are adorned with the sports company’s stripes.
Multiple pieces in the collection are made from future-conscious material fabrications like polyester, cotton, and viscose, reflecting a shared dedication to innovation, advancement, sustainability goals, and collective action.
On June 7th, the first adidas x Gucci lookbook will be released in select Gucci stores, as well as specific Pop-Ups, as well as on Gucci.com and the adidas CONFIRMED app, along with a distinct, dedicated campaign.
