Prada Jewelry – Citing influence from high jewelry of the 1940s, Prada has released a new collection including cuffs, earrings, bangles and bracelets for the spring 2014 season. This hibiscus flower which was featured in the spring collections for men and women is spotlighted in the accessories line, notes L’Officiel Italia. Gold and palladium finishes bring an opulent touch to the new jewelry collection.
Prada on Film – Following up the resort 2014 print advertisements, fashion label Prada has released its official film starring campaign models Anna Ewers, Cameron Russell and Amanda Murphy. In the video, the girls lounge while displaying the luxe jewelry, handbags and prints of resort. The girls shine while the chords of “Daydreaming” by Dark Dark Dark plays.
Red Moscow – Prada is always a popular label when it comes to magazines, and for the December issue of Elle Russia, the fashion glossy puts the spotlight on the label’s fall-winter collection with a story inspired by USSR style. Model Anastasia Kuznetsova wears a wardrobe of all Prada in these glamorous images photographed by Nikolay Birkukov. Retro Glamour – Gracing her second Vogue Australia cover, Arizona Muse wears a Prada resort 2014 dress for the magazine’s December 2013 cover. The American model poses for Nathaniel Goldberg while channeling the 1940s glamour of Lauren Bacall in an up-close shot. The new issue of Vogue hits newsstands on November 18th in Australia.
Gwyneth in Prada – Following up her beautiful shoot for Red Magazine, actress Gwyneth Paltrow attended an event in Paris for Printemps Christmas Decorations Inauguration. The luxury retailer decorated the store in collaboration with Prada. The blonde star opted to wear and black and white printed dress from Prada to the event. Gwyneth paired the look with black heels and matching clutch.
Prada Throwback – This Thursday, we take a look at Prada’s spring-summer 2006 campaign. The advertisements star Sasha Pivovarova, who appeared in the brand’s campaign for six consecutive seasons, photographed by Steven Meisel. In the images, the Russian model wears girly outfits while lounging on a bed. And now today, Sasha has made her return to Prada after appearing in the resort and spring 2013 ads recently.
Elegant Resort – For its resort 2014 campaign, Prada taps Anna Ewers, Amanda Murphy and Cameron Russell for a set of images photographed by Steven Meisel. This marks Anna’s first ad for Prada while Cameron and Amanda have both already appeared in the Italian fashion label’s fall 2013 campaign. Surrounded by luggage and luxuriating in lounge chairs, the trio seems to have encountered the glamorous side of paradise in the glossy images.
Prada’s About Face – Prada designer Miuccia Prada delivered a spring 2014 collection which is an homage to femininity. Artists including Mesa, Gabriel Specter and Jeanne Detallante created murals for the Italian brand which translated to painted faces adorning the season’s many coats, dresses and skirts. Adding to the texture and color of the artwork are colorful sequins accentuating the designs almost as if adding to a canvas. While we have seen some lingerie inspired wear this season, Prada gives a unique take on the brassiere with built-in bra shapes on knitwear dresses. Accessories for the upcoming spring include striped leg warmers, bags with pop art inspired motifs and multi-colored sandals.
Prada Parade – For the September 2013 issue of Slovakian magazine EMMA, photographer Branislav Simoncik captures fashion model Erika Palkovicova in an elegant spread. Styled by Lukas Kimlicka, the dirty blonde dons plaid, leather, fur and tweed styles from Prada’s fall collection. Hair and makeup artist Lukas Kimlicka creates Erika’s wet tresses and dewy skin inspired by the brand’s runway show.
Fall Fantasy – Prada has released its Real Fantasies film for the fall-winter 2013 season made in collaboration with creative team AMO. The men and women shows overlap in the video which runs for a little over two minutes. Artwork for the film was created once again by Lok Jansen and Jeroen Koolhaas. In the surreal project, film noir mystery is juxtaposed with everyday elements as we see the autumn collection in a unique light.
