Captured by David Sims, the eye-catching visuals were shot in distinctive settings. Showcasing Prada’s spring 2023 collection, these ads take their cues from classic Hollywood and European cinema with scenes that look straight out of a movie.
For bags, styles range from tote styles to top handles. Ferdinando Verderi, a frequent collaborator of the brand, also works on creative direction for the shoot. Hunter Schafer previously posed for the Italian label’s fall-winter 2022 and the Symbole bag advertisements.
In a short film called Through Touch of Crude, movie director Nicolas Winding Refn captures the lives of remarkable women who explore modern femininity, adding to the ads’ cinematic theme.
