Chanel Pre-Fall 2012 Collection

Paris-Bombay – For Chanel’s pre-fall 2012 collection, designer Karl Lagerfeld fused Indian and European fashion with draping silhouettes and lush silk materials. Crystal embroidery and lustrous fabrics brought an elegant opulence to the new season with an understated color palette of metallic hues, ivory, black and spots of powdery pink. Accessories included sparkling jewelry used as hair ornaments, sandals and satchel bags.

Look in rough, it’s just another Chanel collection, but when I look closely, the details are WOW! East meets west and it’s perfect!

Equal parts finessed—and clunky. Still a startling vision, almost makes me wish the Kaiser had his own theme park, imagine immersing  oneself in this deluxe world view…

Not a fan. I’d much rather prefer Celine.
