Paris-Bombay – For Chanel’s pre-fall 2012 collection, designer Karl Lagerfeld fused Indian and European fashion with draping silhouettes and lush silk materials. Crystal embroidery and lustrous fabrics brought an elegant opulence to the new season with an understated color palette of metallic hues, ivory, black and spots of powdery pink. Accessories included sparkling jewelry used as hair ornaments, sandals and satchel bags.
