Although Dolce & Gabbana designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been longtime friends of Victoria Beckham, they were candid about their assessment of her brand at the “Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014″ event held in London earlier this week–reports Glamour UK. “She’s a friend. She make a good job but…for us, she don’t make the same way like a fashion designer,” they commented when asked about Beckham’s fashion line. Dolce then went on to compare her brand’s work with high street labels like Zara and H&M which they deemed as “professional” designers perhaps alluding to the more wearable aesthetic of Beckham’s clothing. Dolce & Gabbana also spoke on the difference between Italian and British fashion saying that the Brits have “more cool, more trendy” style.

On her rough time growing up:
“I didn’t go to a private school; it was a public school. It was not a very nice school.” She was bullied there, because, as she puts it, she was “different from all the other children at the school. I really wouldn’t wish it on any kid, because it’s horrible.”
Victoria Beckham Fall 2014–Exploring the staples of masculinity and femininity, designer Victoria Beckham’s fall-winter 2014 collection was a lesson in the modern woman’s wardrobe with an outing of tailored coats, loose-fitting trousers and demure skirts. Surprisingly, print was a star on the runway with slightly psychedelic swirls and splashes on display. The colorful effects played well against Beckham’s restrained silhouettes with pleated skirts and ruched tops.
