To the magazine, she opens up about her fiancé Big Sean, her family struggles as a teenager and her domestic side. See a preview of the shoot below. Also, check out Cosmopolitan’s February cover story with Ashley Benson.
On her fiancée, rapper Sean Michael Anderson, aka “Big Sean:”
“I think he’s going to be an amazing husband, and he’ll make a great father someday. He’s so kind to people, but he also wears the pants in our relationship, which I love. We Latinas are very independent and strong, so it’s even sweeter that I’ve found somebody who can let me out of that role for a minute.”
Ashley on Cosmopolitan–”Pretty Little Liars” star Ashley Benson is the March cover girl for Cosmopolitan US, posing in a sweater and sexy lingerie look. Matthias Vriens-McGrath photographs the blonde actress for the new issue which hits newsstands on February 8th. To the magazine, Ashley opens up about the pressure to go nude on camera, her relationship with her on again and off again boyfriend and more.
On dealing with nudity on camera:
“I never want to do nudity that’s gratuitous. Girls look so much better in lingerie or a t-shirt and leave the rest up to the imagination. I make it clear that I have a line. Everyone tries to push you, and it’s easy to get talked into doing those things. I’ll just walk off-set. But not everyone realizes they can do that.”
Chrissy, the Knock Out – The January issue of Cosmopolitan publishes a workout feature for some New Year inspiration featuring Chrissy Teigen. The “Sports Illustrated” model makes working out look sexy in these colorful images photographed by Ben Watts of Art Department. Stylist Masha Orlov dresses Chrissy in knock out looks including activewear as well as gorgeous manicure looks.
Ariana on Cosmopolitan – Singer Ariana Grande lands the February cover of Cosmopolitan US, looking sweet and sexy in looks photographed by Matt Jones. At the age of 20, Ariana is known for her hit single “The Way” and opens up to the magazine about being a role model for young girls, dating Nathan Sykes and making a name for herself in the industry. The new issue of Cosmopolitan hits stores on January 7th.
On being a positive role model:
“I think I’m an old soul. What excites younger people doesn’t excite me… I’m kind of a boring, normal girl who likes Harry Potter and to sit in her pajamas and sing. A lot of my friends are partiers, but I’ve never really clicked with that. I like Barbra Streisand, and when was the last time you saw Babs getting, like, turnt up? That’s kind of the road that I, as a lady, would like to go down.”
Lauren on Cosmopolitan – Style guru Lauren Conrad graces the January 2014 cover of Cosmopolitan wearing a colorful crop top and skirt combination. Lauren went from reality star to having several successful books as well as fashion lines. The new issue hits newsstands on December 3rd and the blonde star tells the magazine she learned a lot from being on tv, “Being on television all those years, I got to view my own behavior. One thing I realized is that I was too hard on my friends when it came to guys. Instinctually, I wanted to protect them. But then you come off as judge-y and people are reluctant to come to you with a problem. I had to cut “I told you so” from my vocabulary.”
