Chanel in Courchevel – Celebrating its third consecutive year with its winter headquarters located in Courchevel, Chanel offers an exclusive limited edition “Boy” handbag (pictured above) in white alligator and grey orylag for the ephemeral boutique. The store, located in the heart of the Alpine village, houses the label’s Cruise 2013, Première, Mademoiselle Privé, Fine Jewellery and shoe collections. The winter boutique is open from now to April 2013.

The Little Black JacketChanel celebrated the inauguration of the Little Black Jacket exhibition on November 8th, 2012 at the Grand Palais in Paris. The exhibition displays 113 photos from the book titled, “The Little Black Jacket: A Classic Revisited by Karl Lagerfeld and Carine Roitfeld”, featuring celebrities in the iconic Chanel staple. Guests included Daphne Guinness, Haider Ackermann, Charlotte Casiraghi, Laetitia Casta, Maïwenn, Carine Roitfeld, Caroline de Maigret and models Aymeline Valade, Sigrid Agren and Anja Rubik.

Baroque Opulence – For the latest Chanel eyewear collection, creative director Karl Lagerfeld found inspiration in the baroque opulence of costume jewelry worn by founder Coco Chanel. The new “Bijou” collection features ornate metalwork, in feminine and sophisticated shapes including butterfly and cat eye frames. A varied color palette in shades of palladium, limpid blue and celadon green; offer a contrast to the classic craftsmanship. The “Bijou” collection is available in Chanel stores this November.
