NARS’ New Eyeshadow–Cosmetics brand NARS is launching a new eyeshadow with its Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow palette, reports WWD (subscription needed). “I wanted to try something different in the eye-shadow category and pushed our chemists to create a new formulation that would be first-to-market and have the flexibly of being used wet or dry,” says founder François Nars. The accompanying campaign features Russian model and face of Dior, Daria Strokous, who poses with a smokey eye in the ad.
Lara Gets Glamorous–Dutch top model lands the May cover of Glamour France, looking amazing in a white crop top look. Inside the magazine, the face of L’Oreal and recent Bazaar US cover girl impresses in beauty looks of the spring season photographed by Nico of Artlist Paris. Makeup artist Karim Rahman treats Lara to a vibrant red lip as well as bold eyeshadow shades. Hair stylist Marion Anee brings some volume to her tresses with Brigitte Bardot-inspired waves.

Model Shen wears wintry makeup looks fit for a snow princess with glittering eyelashes and painted lips courtesy of makeup artist Lucky Smyler in the striking images.
Robyn on Cosmo–After making multiple appearances in the Australian edition of Cosmopolitan, Robyn Lawley lands a supplement cover for the magazine’s US version. Featured on the May issue, Robyn poses on a peel-away cover sponsored by L’Oreal Paris. This follows up the plus size model’s recent turn for a Barneys beauty campaign launched late last year.

Zoe for L’Oreal–Known for her role in the “Star Trek” franchise, actress Zoe Saldana has joined the L’Oreal Paris family as its latest spokesperson. The cosmetics brand made the announcement on its social media accounts earlier today. Zoe joins the ranks of Blake Lively, Lea Michelle, Julianne Moore and Eva Longoria as a face of the company. Zoe’s latest project is a mini-series remake of “Rosemary’s Baby” which is set to air on NBC later this year. Saldana says her favorite L’Oreal product is the Colour Riche Extraordinaire.
Mariacarla Back for Givenchy–Continuing to front Givenchy Cosmetics’ advertisements, Italian model Mariacarla Boscono stars in the new Prisme Libre campaign for the brand’s Loose Powder Foundation line. Daniel Jackson captures Mariacarla in the ethereal ad, where she poses gracefully against powder suspended in mid-air. Definitely one of the best Givenchy beauty ads yet!
Fast & Furious–The latest issue of Marie Claire China puts the focus on nighttime beauty with this spread starring Helene Desmettre. The brunette model poses for Amber Gray in dramatic makeup styles including glittery eyeshadow and glossy red lips courtesy of makeup artist David Tribolla. Kate for Bobbi–Top model Kate Upton is on a roll lately, after landing an Express deal as the new spokesperson, the blonde bombshell will also front a beauty campaign for makeup brand Bobbi Brown. Kate joins the ranks of Katie Holmes as a face of the company. While the campaign will officially launch in July of this year, Brown shared the news and a video on its social media accounts earlier today.
