In lieu of a runway show or lookbook, Vera Wang tapped director Gordon von Steiner for her Bridal line’s spring 2017 collection. The result is a nearly minute-long short film called ‘Désir à l’Anglaise’ which “celebrates the profound restraint of the British monarchy”. Models Josephine le Tutour and Zlata Semenko can be seen walking through a well-manicured estate wearing regal ballgowns full of drama and restraint. From the high necklines of the ‘Bess’ and the ‘Dagmar’ to the corset inspired bodice of the ‘Ludwig’ gown, spring’s Vera Wang Bridal collection is made for the modern and fashion forward princess.
