Taylor Made—On the Netflix show “Orange is the New Black”, Taylor Schilling may not have such a glamorous job playing the role of the locked up, Piper Chapman. But the actress shows off her fabulous side for the summer cover of Canada’s Glow Magazine. The blonde star poses for Chris Nicholls in a spread where she models sleek gowns and ladylike lace. With art direction by Daniel MacKinnon, Taylor goes from prison uniforms to designer glam with the help of stylist Juliana Schiavinatio.
She also tells the magazine about the series portraying more realistic characters. “Sometimes the entertainment industry denies reality, but the reality is, when you walk down the street there are so many different variations of what it means to be a human being and a woman, and I believe they are all OK … The series has made more space for realistic characters on TV that are based on all kinds of real people, as they’re all valuable and worth having their story told.”
