Louis Vuitton teams up with Italian design house Fornasetti for a fall-winter 2021 collaboration. The collection marries Nicolas Ghesquiere’s forward-looking creativity with architectural drawings. Photographed against a backdrop of historic ruins, a campaign shows models in apparel and accessories with unique touches.
The Cannes bag gets updated with a black-and-white architectural inspiration. There’s also a re-imagined Petite Malle made from metallic leather and featuring a dome print. For apparel, velvet dresses and embellished outerwear designs make a statement.
In addition to imagery, a short film shows the collection in motion. Set to the tunes of ‘Long Road Home’ by Oneohtrix Point Never, it captures a spirit of wanderlust and fantasy.
Louis Vuitton x Fornasetti Campaign
“The collection uses a rich combination of color, textures, and traditional, cutting-edge techniques including jacquard, embroidery and laser printing. Featuring a broad selection of Louis Vuitton products, the collection draws on Fornasetti motifs, such as buildings, locks, keys, and portraits,” the brand shares.
