Giambattista Valli continued to showcase retro, 70s inspired styles with his spring-summer 2016 collection presented during Paris Fashion Week. Short skirts and flirty dresses dominated the runway in dreamy chiffons while pants were cropped at the ankle with a slim fit. High necklines were adorned with embroidered bibs or simply a scarf tied around the neck. As for footwear, it was all about a gladiator inspired style sandal, that glittered. For his finale, Valli sent out five billowing gowns with ruffles and rich prints. Gigi Hadid closed the show in a mustard yellow look with a plunging neckline and crystal embroidered belt.
