Vanitas – Canadian designer Lida Baday’s latest collection takes a minimalist approach with a gothic, austere edge. Photographer Chris Nicholls lenses the fall 2012 campaign featuring model Marla Boehr (Elite), with art direction by Diti Katona (Concrete Design Communications Inc), who evokes vanitas still life with the shoot’s setting and props. Marla’s pulled back hair paired with porcelain skin, piercing eyes and contoured makeup, all by Simone Otis (p1m), gives the campaign a hauntingly beautiful touch. / Retouching + Color Work by Lorca Moore
