Alexander McQueen unveils its fall-winter 2021 collection with a campaign captured by Paolo Roversi. The renowned photographer’s signature dreamy style complements creative director Sarah Burton’s romantic designs. The fall collection is titled: Anemones.
In her own words, Burton describes the inspiration: “Anemones are the most ephemeral flowers, here made permanent in cloth. The women wearing the anemone dresses almost become like flowers, like their embodiment, their character – but amplified, grounded, radiant and strong.”
Models including Florence Hutchings, Luca Biggs, Kayako Higuchi, Lucia Fairfull, Jennifer Ball, and Mary Maguet pose in elegant portraits. Silhouettes are sculpted at the waist with full skirts. A color palette boasts red, black, and pink hues. Elevated denim takes the form of bold sleeves with frayed hemlines.
