Shown at the penultimate day of Paris Fashion Week, Chanel’s fall-winter 2015 collection once again had a grand setting. While last season took models on a feminist march, autumn was set at a brasserie which is described as an informal French restaurant with a large selection of drinks. Here, Karl Lagerfeld catered to the “new bourgeoises”. With 1920s inspired silhouettes, the looks included the iconic tweeds, wool skirts as well as sleeveless cardigans and jackets for outerwear.

Top models Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner hit the catwalk with slicked back hairstyles and dramatic cat eyes. But it was not all ladylike style—Chanel also offered some androgynous looks perhaps going back to the brand founder’s love for pants. Skirts with worldly prints were layered over jeans or leather pants while feminine lace treatments balanced out the masculine influence. Whether going to the brasserie or more formal venues, the Chanel woman has look for just about every occasion this autumn.
