Inspired by the work of expressionist Helen Frankenthaler and sculptor Robert Morris, Proenza Schouler designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough created a fall-winter 2015 collection that evoked a sense of art and wearability. With a color a palette of deep reds, moody greys and black, the pair sent out silhouettes that wear relaxed yet form-fitting at once. A tailored coat nipped at the waist or dresses featuring plunging necklines embraced the feminine form while seemingly random folds or hanging strips brought an avant garde feel. Hernandez and McCollough also embraced textiles with feathers, pleats, grommets and sequins.
