Oscar de la Renta Bridal Spring 2015–As with his ready-to-wear collections, Oscar de la Renta’s bridal outing for spring 2015 features impeccable craftsmanship and romantic ladylike designs. The De la Renta bride can be traditional, wearing Chantilly lace over her ivory-white gown with an empire waist. Or the bride can go for a more tropical theme as shown by one look which features a sheer bralet paired with a matching, embroidered skirt. Flower girl apparel is also featured on the runway–cute, age appropriate dresses perfect for young girls. The closing looks bring drama, each featuring full skirts and models with a bouquet of flowers in hand.

Emma in Oscar de la Renta–Continuing with the press tour of her upcoming film “Noah”, Emma Watson attended the movie’s New York City premiere yesterday and exuded old Hollywood glamour in a black Oscar de la Renta gown. The English actress wore a long-sleeved dress from the brand’s fall 2014 collection with a low back and train at the event. Emma paired the look with shoes from Christian Louboutin and a purse by Roger Vivier. Showing she’s full of surprises, this follows up her wearing a jumpsuit at the Madrid premiere last week.

Oscar de la Renta Fall 2014–A gem of New York Fashion Week, Oscar de la Renta’s fall-winter 2014 collection tells the story of a powerful yet supremely feminine woman. For daytime, her wardrobe consists of tailored pinstriped suiting, luxe fur coats and embroidered tops. In the evening, she wears gowns (naturally) in bold shades of sapphire blue, ruby-red and cool metals. Of the collection’s standouts, a dark empire waist dress matched with gold embroidery and worn by Jourdan Dunn is a show-stopping look.

The duo wears matching short hairdos in the pastel separates and pretty gowns in images by Norman Jean Roy. ODLR’s Elegant Woman – A highlight of New York Fashion Week, Oscar de la Renta’s spring 2014 showing embraced ladylike elegance with a procession of embellished garments. Whether wearing daytime dresses embroidered with floral patterns or an evening gown displaying impressive thread work; the glamour of the de la Renta woman is evident. The color palette can only be described as pretty–visions of pastels ranging from citron, clementine, ivory and chartreuse told the story of spring. The finale emphasized the romanticism of the new season as models Karlie Kloss and Joan Smalls closed the show. One wearing a tiered ivory column dress, and the other modeling a citron-yellow silk and tulle gown with black embroidery.
The Grand Glam – Oscar de la Renta taps Norman Jean Roy who is known for shooting for Vanity Fair, Vogue US and more notable publications to lens its fall 2013 campaign. A close up on gems and embroidered detailing bring an opulent touch to the autumn season.
