Legendary designer Oscar de la Renta has passed away at the age of 82 after battling cancer since 2006. According to ABC News, a family member revealed the news of the designer’s death earlier today. Born in 1932 in the Dominican Republic, De la Renta cemented his name in fashion with first lady Jacqueline Kennedy wearing his designs in the 1960s. Recently, Amal Clooney wore a De la Renta wedding dress at her ceremony to George Clooney.
