MMM x H&M Confirmed – After the rumor circled around the fashion sphere yesterday, Swedish retailer H&M has confirmed an upcoming collection with French fashion house Maison Martin Margiela which is headed to stores on November 15th. “Maison Martin Margiela is one of the most important and influential fashion houses of the past three decades. I am so excited by this radical collaboration which will give fashion lovers around the world the chance to wear special pieces,” says Margareta van den Bosch, H&M’s creative advisor. Vogue’s New Edition – Following up the recent launch of Vogue Netherlands, Condé Nast announced it is bringing the fashion bible to the Ukraine within the next year. This will mark the 20th edition of Vogue, and should inspire many fashionable covers like the one above. (The Cut)

H&M’s New Collabortion – The latest high fashion house rumored to collaborate with Swedish retailer H&M is Maison Martin Margiela. Known for its avant-garde looks like the one above, the one-off collection is allegedly set to hit stores during the holiday season, and if Margiela’s past looks are anything to go by–it would certainly be an interesting venture. Mulberry’s new Tassel Collection hits stores today with mini, oversize and regular styles all finished in luxe leathers and studded tassels. The new collection is available online at Mulberry’s official site.
Rabanne’s New Director – Paris-based label Paco Rabanne recently appointed 29 year-old designer Lydia Maurer as the new artistic director of its womenswear line. Maurer will present her first collection for the fashion house during Rabanne’s spring 2013 presentation in October. “It is a great honor to be taking on the artistic direction of such an emblematic house at the heart of Parisian creation. Monsieur Rabanne created his clothing as a means of expressing the singularity of each woman. He invented a timeless, unique and sensual style inspired by art and architecture. This is the ongoing creative spirit that I wish to convey in my work for the House,” says the newly named artistic director.

Summer with Karl – Karl Lagerfeld will be opening a pop up store in St. Tropez’s Place des Lices for his namesake label beginning on June 8th for a five month period. The St. Tropez store will feature an exclusive beachwear collection made for the holiday season. The store design is inspired by the brand’s signature colors–black and white.
One Night Only – On May 31st, designer Giorgio Armani traveled to Beijing, China for the first time in six years and presented an edited version of his fall 2012 Emporio Armani and Giorgio Armani lines as well as the Armani Privé spring 2012 collection. Armani says, “I’ve always had a very special relationship with China, a country with a rich cultural background and a sophisticated aesthetic which has often inspired me in my search for atmosphere and mood. It is a place to which I have paid homage in many of my collections.” The Italian fashion house celebrates over a decade in China, with the first Armani Chinese store dating back to 1998.
