In the Garden – Blumarine’s diffusion line Blugirl goes for a youthful look with its fall 2013 campaign starring Jemma Baines. The Australian beauty poses in a garden setting with looks inspired by British it girls’ style such as Alexa Chung. Jemma models fur coats, lace-trimmed designs and flirty details including bows in the charming, outdoor shots.
The Mad Hatter – For fall 2012, Marc Jacobs teamed up with milliner Stephen Jones to help envision his latest collection filled with oversize and floppy hats that could easily belong to Alice in Wonderland’s Mad Hatter. Playing with the fairytale theme, Jacobs offered a fantastical play on proportions in the form of bulky skirts and jackets layered expertly for the autumn season. The color palette was steeped in moody hues with accents of gold, powder pink and lilac. Patterns ranged from paisley to floral which broke up the heavy silhouettes with levity. The show ended on a more subdued note, featuring a few pared down ensembles that lengthened in hemlines and flattened in shape.
Be a Doll and Take My Heart – Jemma Baines wears a mix of colorful prints and knits for Christopher Morris’ latest work in Black Magazine #15. Outfitted by David Bonney, Jemma sports Just Cavalli, House of Holland, Camilla and Marc and others with drawn on eyebrows and disheveled locks by Nicole Thompson and Gavin Anesbury.
Teen Riot – Jemma Baines portrays a rock riot girl in front of Derek Henderson‘s lens for the latest issue of Russh. With creative direction by Christine Thornton, the brunette shows off her rebellious attitude donning an all black and white wardrobe. The edgy look is completed with mohawks and smudged eyes by hair stylist Alan White (ghd) and makeup artist Justine Purdue (Names Agency using M.A.C.).
Shape Up – Evoking the essence of Jean Shrimpton, Jemma Baines dons mod inspired ensembles for Luke Irons (Work) colorful portraits in Harper’s Bazaar Australia’s September issue. Styled by Jillian Davison in structured coats and dresses from the likes of Burberry Prorsum, Prada, Bally, Jil Sander and Stella McCartney; Jemma shows off the autumn looks with flair. / Hair by Alan White, Makeup by Linda Jefferyes
