Thylane Blondeau on Jalouse–At thirteen years old, French model Thylane Blondeau has already appeared in Vogue Paris twice which caused quite a bit of controversy three years ago. Now, the fresh faced beauty stars on the April 2014 cover from Jalouse where the publication proclaims her the next Kate Moss in one of its headlines. Some websites seem to be kicking up dust about a thirteen year old being on the cover of a women’s fashion magazine. What do you think? Age appropriate or crossing a line?
Thinking Punk – Showing off her inner punk, Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi appears in the December cover story of Jalouse China in a rebellious chic fashion spread. Jumbo Tsui captured the star of Kenzo’s fall 2013 advertisements in glamorous rock ‘n’ roll looks featuring everything ranging from studded leather jackets to even this season’s hot trend of plaid selected by stylist Shuo Yuan Hasegawa. Rinko gets accessorized with nose rings, fishnets and cigarettes in the stylish shoot.
Fall Drama – Posing in a new shoot for Jalouse, you can’t help but spot the resemblance Anna Cleveland has to her supermodel mother Pat Cleveland. Bjarne Jonasson of Atelier Management photographs the young model wearing fall fashions in an outdoor setting for the French magazine. Stylist Jennifer Eymere selects elegant designs from the likes of Paul & Joe, Gucci and Dior for Anna to model. Hair stylist Fady and makeup artist Virginia La Fey work on beauty for the shoot.
Venice Beach – Namibian model Behati Prinsloo takes to Venice Beach for this summer shoot featured in Jalouse magazine’s June issue. Lensed by Bjarne Jonasson and styled by Jennifer Eymere, the Victoria’s Secret beauty soaks up the sun in colorful swimwear looks from labels such as Michael Kors, Emporio Armani and Carven. Accessorized with sneakers and jewelry, Behati evokes a retro vibe in the stylish spread.
Summer Ride – Namibian model Behati Prinsloo graces the June 2013 cover of Jalouse. The French publication tapped Bjarne Jonasson to shoot the Victoria’s Secret Angel in a Marc by Marc Jacobs top and an Eres pair of bottoms. Behati looks like the girl next door riding her bike with fresh faced makeup and laid-back hair.
Pop Geisha – New face and star of the spring Chanel campaign, Yumi Lambert, graces the pages of Jalouse’s March issue in a shoot inspired by Japanese style. Photographed by Erwin Olaf (Bernstein & Andriulli) and styled by Jennifer Eymere, the beauty enchants in Geisha fashion with a futuristic edge featuring the designs of Nina Ricci, Lanvin, Costume National and others. Chic Illustrated – Australian stunner Miranda Kerr takes on some of the season’s most standout looks with a retro twist for the February cover shoot of Jalouse. The Victoria’s Secret beauty enchants in the designs of Saint Laurent, Gucci, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.
