Happy Holidays – Fashion brand H&M taps leading model Christy Turlington, Liu Wen, Cora Emmanuel and Doutzen Kroes for its Holiday 2013 campaign. Christy has made quite the comeback this year, first appearing on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar US and then appearing in ads for Calvin Klein Underwear. The beauties seem to have a pretty fashionable holiday in a mix of sparkling sweaters and black dresses. Alexi Lubomirski shot the campaign which features looks from the Swedish retailer’s mainline and Divided collections.
Daphne for H&M – Blonde beauty Daphne Groeneveld works it in some new video pieces from H&M. The Dutch model has a longstanding relationship for the brand, appearing as the face of its “Icons” collection and other images. In the films, Daphne looks bohemian chic in knee-high boots, flowing blouses and shaggy vests. Watch two videos below or go to H&M’s Youtube channel to see all five.
Isabeli Gets Cozy – Everyone knows H&M is the go to for fashion basics, and the retailer proves just that with its latest style book series starring Isabeli Fontana. The Brazilian top model works it in cozy sweater and stylish jacket options from the brand. Andrew Yee of Atelier Management photographed Isabeli in the studio images where she also rocks fur vests, simple tees and leather pants.
All-Star Collaboration – For it’s last collaboration with Isabel Marant, fast fashion retailer H&M pulls out the big guns and taps some of the industry’s top names to star in the campaign images. Beauties Alek Wek, Daria Werbowy, Devon Aoki, Malgosia Bela, Milla Jovovich, Sam Rollinson and Saskia de Brauw all star in a stylish series of studio images photographed by Karim Sadli. Back to Basics – As the face of H&M’s winter advertisements, Dutch beauty Doutzen Kroes makes another appearance for the brand with its “Best Basics” lookbook. The style update highlights classic wardrobe staples like comfy sweaters, simple tees, long skirts and knitted cardigans. Through all the looks, Doutzen remains as gorgeous as ever with her stunning model looks.
Blue on Blue – H&M taps Polish beauty Magdalena Frackowiak for a recent trend update featuring all denim looks. Whether wearing denim on denim or knitwear with jeans, Magdalena exudes pure elegance in the new style book images. The blonde accessorizes with ankle booties, heels and silver jewelry.
Winter Looks – For H&M’s winter campaign, Dutch model Doutzen Kroes may be posing in the desert but she certainly looks cozy in cable knits, faux furs and leather pants. Layered in scarves and cool hats, the Victoria’s Secret model stuns in the sunny, outdoor images. Doutzen also appeared in the fashion retailer’s summer advertisements earlier this year.
Marant for H&M – Before the collection hits stores on November 14th, here is the first part of the Isabel Marant for H&M lookbook starring models Andreea Diaconu, Alek Wek, Milla Jovovich, Iselin Steiro, Malgosia Bela and French singer Lou Doillon. The girls all wear the French designer’s signature boyish and rock and roll style with boxy jackets, long cardigans and leather pants that look like the perfect fall essentials. For accessories, you can look forward to shoes, jewelry and scarves.
H&M’s 2013 Design Winner – H&M’s annual design prize for talent on the rise, the H&M Design Award, has picked 27 year-old graduate from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Minju Kim, as its 2013 winner. The designer was afforded the opportunity to design nine clothing pieces and two accessories for a line that will be available in select H&M stores starting on October 17th. It will also be available at Opening Ceremony in New York, Los Angeles and London.
The lookbook images star French model Anais Pouliot and Marikka Juhler shot by Benjamin Vnuk. Kim’s designs bring manga to life with playful and colorful designs including dresses and sweaters. “These pieces by Minju Kim show H&M’s commitment to the future of design and to helping move fashion forward,” says Ann-Sofie Johansson, H&M’s Creative Head of Design.
Gisele Sings – Following up the print advertisements, here is a look at the official campaign film for H&M’s fall season starring Gisele Bundchen. In addition to modeling the new rock ‘n’ roll inspired collection, the Brazilian stunner also shows off her pipes in the song, “All Day and All of the Night”, originally performed by the Kinks. The song is available on iTunes and for every download, H&M will make a donation to UNICEF to enable the purchase of vaccines for children.
