DSquared2 looses the flash and sex for the spring 2011 campaign season and replaces it with understated elegance lensed by Mert & Marcus. Starring Hailey Clauson, Crystal Renn, Fei Fei Sun, Anna Jagodzinska and Monica Sawicka, the advertisements go for sleek glamour playing on the show’s menswear influence.
Photographer Agata Pospieszynska shares with us a behind the scenes look at the fall 2010 campaign from Reserved. Starring Anna Jagodzinska and Karmen Pedaru with styling by Andrzej Sobolewski, the black and white images gives us a rare glimpse at the backstage chaos found on set.
Clad in lacey black garments styled by fashion editor Mika Mizutani, Anna Jagodzinska is the very definition of the word vixen in her most recent work for August’s Vogue Nippon. Shot in black and white by Hedi Slimane, Anna dons designs from labels such as Burberry, Lanvin, and Sonia Rykiel in Soft Machine.
Photographed by Mert & Marcus for Siviglia’s fall 2010 campaign, Anna Jagodzinska appears alongside Baptiste Giabiconi as she plays the mother to his father in a vast array of outerwear and knits. (x-posted to The Fashionisto)
In what can only be described as a mammoth sized editorial, the 64 page “ADN de la Mode”, features a unique blend of modeling veterans (Shalom Harlow and Malgosia Bela), runway queens (Natasha Poly and Lily Donaldson), fashion’s best faces (Eniko Mihalik and Lara Stone) and even a few surprises. As much as “la Mode” appears to focus on the models, Inez & Vinoodh were also able to capture the fall collections just as well (if not better) with the cumulative vision of Vogue Paris’ editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld, Emmanuelle Alt, and Joe McKenna. By including such a large cast of models and highlighting such diverse designers, there is almost something for everyone to appreciate here in one way or another.
