McQueen’s fall-winter 2025 campaign crackles with energy. Shot and directed by Glen Luchford, it pulls us into a world where movement becomes language. Bodies twist, stretch, and collapse in light that feels almost spectral, caught between shadow and radiance. The images hum with liberation.

Seán McGirr, the house’s creative director, roots the McQueen collection in the Gothic codes of Victorian rebels. Oscar Wilde, Vesta Tilley, and Romaine Brooks linger like ghosts in the fabric, their daring spirit alive in every cut and fold. McGirr frames the work as an exploration of tension: tradition versus transgression, restraint versus abandon.

It’s fashion that pushes at the edges of identity, gender, and idealism. The campaign stars Alex Consani, Athiec Geng, Chu Wong, and Libby Taverner, each embodying McGirr’s vision. With styling by Sarah Richardson and art direction from Christopher Simmonds, the campaign becomes more than a seasonal statement.

The clothes themselves tell their own story. Silk georgette ripples with weightless grace. Sharp tailoring slices through the air. Black lacquered leather holds the line, while bursts of scarlet and molten orange set the scene ablaze. The pieces are striking alone, but together they create a chorus of instinct, emotion, and raw desire.
