Taking on the story of girlish wonder in a rustic setting, photographer Lauren Withrow captures the dark haired beauty of Natalie Gempel in Watercolor Dreams. 1. Jennifer Connelly…my first thought..younger Jennifer, which of course is a BIG compliment. I just wish she would close her mouth. Looks much better when models dont look like they are taking a big crap.

  2. This is great–my only problem with it is the post-processing looks so choppy. You can clearly see the demarcation from the blurry out of focus aspects to the sharply in focus detail. Maybe blend those layers better, or maybe it’s on purpose, I don’t know… it’s very distracting to me. It’s especially noticeable on the close-ups of her face. Otherwise it’s a wonderful shoot!
