Mary Katrantzou presented her own version of folklore with her label’s spring-summer 2016 shown during day 3 of London Fashion Week. Citing inspiration from the Balkans, Spain and Romania, the designer embraced glittering sequins and a psychedelic mix of colors for the runway. However, it was not all about glitter and shine. Katrantzou also showed mini dresses adorned with ruffles as well as tailored jackets. Bohemian yet modern, the spring season was one of Katrantzou’s strongest efforts yet.
