Kaia Gerber is named the The Daily Front Row’s Breakout Model of the Year. The 15-year-old model graces the magazine’s September 10-11, 2016 cover alongside photographer Sebastian Faena who also captured the shoot. Inside the glossy, Kaia appears in California ready looks including cropped knit pieces, denim shorts and leather jackets. Stylist Paige Reddinger selects the designs of Jeremy Scott, Acne Studios and Alexander Wang for the rising star.
In her interview, Kaia talks about working with Kendall Jenner on a LOVE shoot. “I’ve known Kendall for a while due to the fact that we are both from L.A. and have a lot of mutual friends. Shooting with her was super easy, and the pictures turned out to be some of my favorite ones I’ve ever done. I admire her for how down-to-earth and unaffected she is.”

In September, Marc Jacobs Beauty announced Kaia Gerber as its new brand ambassador. Kaia joins the ranks of Winona Ryder and Jessica Lange as a face of the company. In the official release posted to Facebook, they wrote: “We are excited and very honored to announce the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty is the incredibly talented, gorgeous and charming Kaia Gerber.” David Sims shot the campaign with Diane Kendal on makeup and Guido Palau on hair.
