What to Wear to a Wedding

This month kicks off wedding season meaning that you may be invited to a ceremony or two before the end of summer. But what exactly do you wear to a wedding as a guest? Tricky question. Depending on the venue, there are quite a number of ways to dress, but we made it simple with five different wedding looks that go from casual to formal in a snap.

OUTDOOR WEDDING: If the wedding you are attending happens to be outdoors then try on a more casual style. A high-low dress shows off your legs while still having a semi-formal vibe. Free People has created a perfect look for the outdoor wedding.

FORMAL LOOK: If you are attending a more formal wedding ceremony, then keep it classic with a long gown. These looks from Elie Saab bring some modern glamour with high slits and interesting necklines. Pair with a strappy heel for the ultimate statement.

CASUAL GLAM: Let's say you are going to a wedding with a more relaxed dress code. Trade in those long hemlines for shorter ones and even start experimenting with separates for the perfect casual look. Topshop's little black party dress can go from wedding to night club easily.

SUIT UP: Who said you need to wear a dress or skirt to a wedding? If you are looking for a nontraditional look then a tailored suit is the way to go. Take a cue from H&M's Conscious line with square shoulders, slim-fit pants and a button-up top. Go for a brogue shoe for a masculine look or pump for feminine style.
