Erin Fetherston x Nordstrom Weddings–Weddings have always been traditionally all about the bride, but now, bridesmaids are having their day in the sun thanks to Erin Fetherston. The American designer is teaming up with upscale retailer Nordstrom for a collection delicate white frocks and bridesmaids’ dresses from her Erin by Erin Fetherston line and is set to be released in August, reports WWD. “Getting married and being a bride played naturally into this connection [with Nordstrom],” said the recently wedded designer.
“It’s refreshing to bring more of a fashion perspective to that world,” Fetherston explained. “It’s an easy crossover because my own sensibility is superfeminine and romantic, and I have a softer ethereal sensibility.”
In addition to her recent venture into bridesmaid dresses, Fetherston recently collaborated with Cosabella lingerie for a gorgeous collection of bridal intimates. With so much of her recent work focused on bridal world, the next logical step would appear to be wedding dresses with which the designer agrees, “Wedding gowns would be a natural extension for me. I designed my own.”
Prices will range from $225-$695. The collection will include 22 different styles.
