Blumarine’s Take on Glamour – For spring 2014, Blumarine gets dreamy with an outing of ultra-feminine looks embellished with flowers and butterflies. The first half of the collection is almost exclusively in white and nude illuminated by gilded jacquard patterns. Then the catwalk transforms into less romance and more sensuality with form-fitting dresses adorned with sequins and feathers. More androgynous looks take shape in the form of boxy blazers and tapered trousers worn with ankle boots. Never one to shy away from glamour, the show closes with rhinestones and feathers in a nod to fifties glamour and Las Vegas showgirls.
