Looks from Marchesa’s fall 2016 bridal collection

For Marchesa’s fall 2016 bridal collection, designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig focused on metallic and sequin embroideries bringing a touch of shine to their wedding dresses. Introduced for the new season are bridal shoes and jewelry including ornate crowns. For shoes, laser-cut booties and sandals are a contemporary counter-part to their regal, princess-like designs.

Playing with shape for fall, the Marchesa bride has the option for short and flirty frocks with gathered fabrics or more figure-hugging silhouettes with long gowns. The romantic mood is contrasted with sensual open back details as well as sheer overlays.
