After being named creative director of Balenciaga in 2012, speculation is brewing that Alexander Wang could leave his post at the Paris Fashion House. WWD reports that Kering (Balenciaga’s parent company) and Wang are currently in contract negotiations. Although his three year run has been successful, including an increase in revenue, the news site’s sources say Wang may be struggling with the balance of focusing on his namesake label as well as the luxury brand. Wang is expected to present Balenciaga’ spring 2016 collection in Paris this fall.
