For her fall-winter 2015 collection, Alberta Ferretti looked to the Italian Renaissance for inspiration—resulting in a dreamy, almost fairytale outing of looks only aided by a woodsy backdrop on the catwalk. Opulently decorated with lace, embroideries and fur; the Ferretti woman’s wardrobe makes a powerful statement by embracing femininity yet still evoking strength with long sweeping coats and tailored pants. Likewise, shoes were also embellished—an embroidered boot or oxford heel adorned with a crystal buckle brought even more fantasy to the romantic looks.
