Set against the backdrop of a black and gold New York City skyline, Donna Karan celebrated the Big Apple with her fall-winter 2015 collection. The designs answered the question of what a New York woman would wear to different events. In the snow she wears an ombre jacket, at a cocktail night she wears a relaxed fit pair of trousers with a long-sleeve shirt in black. And at a more formal event, she flaunts some skin in a black gown like the finale look flashing a peek of cleavage with a sheer line. The dark color palette and clean lines made for a strong collection that certainly celebrated New York and Karan’s timeless designs at once.
