At 83 years old, Carmen Dell’Orefice is known as “the world’s oldest working model”, and shows off her timeless beauty for the latest issue of NEW YOU Magazine. Inside the magazine, Carmen shows off elegant looks and also opens up about her 7-decade long career. “I have had more magazine covers in the last 25 years than I have had in my whole elongated career. Today I am in a territory that business considers unmarketable: age and white hair. Slowly, however, I started to own that territory little by little because I stood up for age,” Carmen tells NEW YOU magazine. The white-haired stunner also opens up about enjoying sex while older and explains why some people avoid it.

On still having sex – and enjoying it: “Of course [I still have a sex life], why would I give that up? Do I love to breathe? If you have a Rolls Royce and it is up on wheels, you go in with the key and every now and then turn on the motor to make sure the motor is running. So when you want to drive the car, it is all oiled and ready”
When asked how she keeps it ‘oiled,’ Carmen says: “I know how to pleasure myself. I can go for a low romantic love, and that’s fine but I am conditioned to the whole meal.”
On why people give up on sex later in life: “Because they never entered sex from the right doorway. We are told by our parents, ‘don’t do that’ or ‘that’s bad’ and then there is religion and the doctors who say ‘oh you are over sex.’ No – you are just under-satisfied. It should be like breathing – so natural.”
