Face of Lancôme, Daria Werbowy, gets her closeup for the December-January 2015 issue of Air France Madame. The Canadian model wears winter makeup looks from the beauty brand in these images captured by Nico. With art direction by Giorgio Martinoli, the brunette stuns while wearing lipstick shades ranging from deep magentas to pale pinks. Virginie Dhello worked as stylist for the shoot with hair by Pasquale Ferrante and makeup by Miky.
I love the idea of winter make-up and besides the rich, darker colors for lips we have to think of the different kinds of protection our skin needs in winter compared to other times of the year. This look clearly offers some protective cover but manages to be light and natural at the same time. This cold and icy day in NYC is a day I am thinking much about protection.
