Marni Fall 2014–Texture and exaggerated proportions took over for Marni’s fall-winter 2014 collection. Designer Consuelo Castiglioni took on a nomadic theme full of texture including luxurious fur coats, and feather and tassel embellished skirts. In addition to the oversized outerwear, the Marni woman also embraces wide and cropped trousers as well as long skirts that have an asymmetric hemline. Color is put on show with bold primaries and autumnal hues including burgundy, navy and taupe splashed across furs or as abstract floral prints. The shoe for fall is a mens-inspired flat made with a chunky heel and gold metal detailing across the toe.
