Donna Karan Fall 2014–Dark and sensual. These are the two main ideas of Donna Karan’s fall-winter 2014 collection which also happens to mark the label’s 30th anniversary. The dark mainly comes from a color palette of inky black with rare pops of seductive red. Sensuality comes from the slinky silhouettes that embrace the feminine form. Karan’s tailoring is out in full force with the collection’s opening which showcases belted jackets with a slightly Eastern inspired cut. Outerwear looks to fur coats as well as cinched parkas for the fall season. For evening wear, the Karan woman wears show stopping gowns with flowing fabric and high slits–a great look for just about any red carpet event.
