Valentino

Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli created a spring season inspired by the costumes of the Rome Opera House. Regal embellishments and ladylike silhouettes brought a romantic take to Paris Fashion Week.

Alexander McQueen

Alexander McQueen creative director Sarah Burton showed off modern-day warriors with a collection of feathers and beads that proved the McQueen woman can get touch when she needs to.

Missoni

Prints in graphic black and white brought an almost tribal edge to Missoni’s spring-summer preview. Global travel was the theme of the wearable collection.

Prada

Women and female empowerment was the theme of Prada’s spring preview. Miuccia Prada commissioned artists to create murals of woman painted on dresses and coats.

Balmain

Houndstooth prints, oversized fits and gold embellishments brought a 90s spin to Balmain’s spring-summer collection designed by Olivier Rousteing.

Miu Miu

“Ugly” fashion has been dubbed the staple of Miu Miu designer Miuccia Prada. For spring, Prada found inspiration in an unlikely source with throwback seventies looks adorned with kitschy prints and girly colors.

Versace

Versace took on sexy and slinky rock and roll fashion for the spring-summer. Bright hues and cut-out dresses brought on confident glamour for the new season.

Stella McCartney

Normally known for her sportswear designs, Stella McCartney embraced femininity with lingerie-inspired slip dresses decorated with lace details for spring.

Balenciaga

Balenciaga creative director Alexander Wang introduced a sense of ease into the French fashion house’s structural DNA with the brand’s spring-summer preview.

Saint Laurent

For spring, Hedi Slimane’s eighties infused outing for Saint Laurent embraced menswear suiting for women with a rock and roll edge.
