Jason Wu Named Artistic Director of BOSS Womenswear

Wu at BOSS – Designer Jason Wu is set to take over as the new artistic director of BOSS Womenswear starting June 15th, 2013. Wu will work on the label’s ready-to-wear and accessories line. The first BOSS Womenswear Collection under the Taiwanese-born designer will debut during the pre-fall 2014 season in New York. His first runway show will be held during New York Fashion Week in February 2014.

“I have long been a fan of HUGO BOSS’ vast tradition and lineage in extraordinary tailoring. With the state-of-the-art facilities that are unique to the HUGO BOSS design labs, I plan to develop a strong, feminine womenswear collection that reciprocates the brand’s authority in menswear,” says Wu about the new role.
