The Dark Knight Rises – With dark lips set against her perfectly porcelain skin, Ranya Mordanova is the epitome of autumn wistfulness in these stunning shots by Danilo Giuliani in the latest issue of Marie Claire US. Seasonal gothic attire is given a touch of medieval edge, with caged bodices, chain mail and armor-like accessories styled by fashion editor Nina Sterghiou (Atelier Management). Ranya wears artful selects from the likes of Gucci, Alexis Bittar, Calvin Klein Collection, Dolce & Gabbana, Yves Saint Laurent, Versace, and Chanel amidst a rocky setting. / Hair by Fernando Torrent, Make-up by Yasuo Yoshikawa, Manicure by Casey Herman

  1. Out of the 3 recent Goth editorials here, I definitely like this one the best.  For some of photos, it’s like, you first think goth, but then realize no one piece is obviously that way on its own, and that it’s the whole thing that gives it that feel.  So that’s much more interesting.
